Mama’s Bricks is a London-based design and craft studio working at the intersection of ceramics and architecture.

Rooted in the lived experience of growing up in hot, humid climates, the studio explores how brick design can enhance building performance and everyday comfort. Through material intelligence and considered geometry, we develop systems that respond to climate while remaining sculptural and expressive.

Perforated, layering terracotta bricks are designed to support natural ventilation, light, and passive cooling. Combining geometry and material porosity, these elements contribute to environmental comfort.

Custom glazed bricks and tiles were developed in collaboration with architects and designers. Focused on surface, colour, and architectural expression, these elements create distinctive interiors and façades.
